UMass, as a first year FBS school, plays 4 AQ teams this year, one of them at home.
I like Compher a lot but remind me why he has nothing but excuses for why we can't play an AQ team at HS.

UMass is playing their home games in an NFL stadium. That's how they're bringing a BCS team in.

UMass is playing their home games in an NFL stadium. That's how they're bringing a BCS team in.

Thank you for pointing that out. Gillette Stadium is a 2 hour drive from the UMass campus in Amherst. Even further than Soldier Field is from DeKalb!

and Kraft isn't charging UMASS anything. He is even letting them keep the gate to do with what they need.

Nice of Kraft and everything, but that's friggin' crazy to play home games that far away from campus in an area that cares very little for college football. They're going to make Temple crowds look like LSU, for cryin' out loud.
