BSU up 38-22 at CMU at halftime.

NIU is just... bad.

This the worst I've seen a Kent State team play in a long time.

I think both Akron and Kent got caught looking forward to Saturday.

Pair of road wins picked up already.

BG wins at Miami
Ball State wins at CMU

Toledo beats NIU at home.

Buffalo beats Akron at home
Ohio beats Kent at home.

EMU plays a very good 2nd half and pulled it out in OT.

Both teams traded treys in the last 5 seconds of the 2nd half to force it into OT.

P.S the 2nd half + OT wasn't ugly. :)

So Toledo beat Northern Illinois 71-41. How friggin' bad is NIU???!!!

Ask Central.

Home court is critical in the MAC. If you protect home court you will win in this league. If you don't your in trouble and gonna have to win 4 in Cleveland to make the dance.

So, the key is "winning"?

NIU this year.

At least Toledo won an OOC game against a D1 opponent (two actually...one more than my team did), plus they beat WMU.

Still early, but NIU is pretty bad.

Still early, but NIU is pretty bad.

They just weren't into it at all. Not paying attention, three guys had backs turned on one play not watching a wide open Buckley who dribbled up to the line and shot over an NIU guy who had no idea he was thete. There were other examples.

Meanwhile, OHIO picks up a huge win over pre-season favorite Kent State! BRING ON FIAMI!!!!!!!!!!

Based on the outcome of the BG game (loss at home), I doubt we'll cause you much trouble, BB.

Congrats Buffalo!! It was a matter of time until Filzen got his stroke back...I was just hoping it wasn't against us.
