Though Toledo is only 8-9 (0-3 MAC), they do a few things well. They can score (74 points a game: NIU 56), because they can pass (14 assists per game: NIU 10) and shoot (46% compared to our 37%). They have 5 guys averaging 9 points or more per game, so they have good offensive balance. However, almost all that scoring comes from their guards, so it isn't a horrible matchup for our guys. If it were big men that doing the damage, it'd be much tougher for our D to stop it. Since their guards can shoot, I wonder if (maybe even hope) we'll play more man-to-man than zone on D.

Toledo has a real good passer in Julius Brown but they still turn it over 14 times a game. So it we are active on D (and we almost always are), we should get opportunites to run...though our fast breaks have been...well...not so good.

Toledo started out well against a pretty soft schedule and crashed pretty hard back to earth (2-8 in last ten). They can be scored on and got beat pretty badly by CMU and WMU.

I'm feeling a shootout on the road, where we juuuuuuuust get eke'd out by the better offensive team despite our D and rebounding advantages.

Hopefully the motion O continues to progress and proves me wrong. Perhaps it's double-double time for Bolin....

I like the Rockets -8 in this one, just because you couldn't have a bigger letdown for the Huskies after winning their first "real" game of the season and then going on the road.
