Apparently you can sign 28 kids to a NLI but can only bring in 25 per class in the fall. At least that is what the Owlscoop.com moderator has said. The actual number right now is 28 or 29 with probably 3-4 recruits going to prep school...

The 25/28 per year numbers are correct.

Did the Zilches call any of them on their way to a funeral to pull the offers?

2 star DL Bret Niederreither decommitted from West Virginia and committed to Temple. He also had offers from GA Tech and Kent.

Temple picked up another decommitment, a 3 star top safety from a major BCS school. I can't include his name because it's not really public information yet.

Waiting for 100% confirmation, but Temple looks like it's picking up a 4 star QB transfer.

I've heard that while most people expect Gilmore to sign with Temple, he is still considering Temple and WKU and will make the decision on signing day. Those other offers were mostly off the table....except for I believe Marshall and maybe MTSU. Other schools backed off because of grades. I've also heard that Gilmore supposedly told coaches at both Temple and WKU that he was going to sign with them so he seems to be "playing" one of them.

For what it is worth...a rivals recruiting writer came to the site and said Gilmore will definitely sign with Temple but wanted to wait to announce on signing day...

Still flattered Polish by your love for Temple...How many posts have you devoted to Temple? Hundreds? Maybe thousands?
Not nearly as many posts as replies I get from the cry babies.
Kent State with a solid commit at DB.

Quote:Colleyville (Tex.) Covenant Christian Academy defensive back Adam Maxie. The 6-foot-1, 172-pound prospect made the call to Kent State just a few days ago.

"I committed actually on January 26th (to the coaching staff)," said Maxie. "I just felt more comfortable with (Kent State) than UCLA and I actually didn't take the visit to UCLA."

Toledo received a commitment tonight from three star JUCO defensive back Cameron Cole. He chose Toledo over offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Indiana and Texas Tech. He also had a verbal offer from Miami FL, but had not received the paperwork. He took official visits to Miami FL, Texas Tech, and Toledo. He is the 9th three star commitment for Toledo according to Rivals.com. Three of those 9 three star commitments have a 5.7 rating, which is the highest rating of a three star prospect. A 5.8 rating is the first four star rating in Rivals' rating system.
Per Rivals, *** ILB Tyler Goble has decommited from BGSU and wil sign with Navy. Congrats to Tyler...he's going to be part of a much bigger team. :)

Is that the 2nd 3-star verbal BGSU lost this week? Ouch.
We lost a *** ( on Rivals) JUCO WR and may hve lost *** DE Mikhail Dubose in addition to Goble. We looked to have picked up *** DT Minns. It happens... when you have 85 scholarships and 105 kids, it's tough to get too worked up over 1 or 2 dropping here and there...

I can't knock it. He's going to serve his country.
...and still achieve his dream of playing in the Glass Bowl on 10/19/2013.

or the financial and geopolitical power brokers that bank off the patriotic enthusiasm of young men looking for honor. depends on your perspective, i guess. navy certainly has the cooler stadium
Not MAC-related, unless one plays UofM or Cincy, but Dennis Norfleet, a super RB flipped from Cincy to UofM over night.
BG doesn't want this recruit, 4-stars or not.

Looks like he has a little Kobe in him.

Maybe the RedHawks could welcome him into their fraternity.
