if you hadn't attended your school?

I saw this on the C-USA board (apologies to that author) and I thought it was an interesting question.

In my case, I applied to UConn, Syracuse, and Vermont. UConn & Syracuse accepted me, but Vermont did not. So my choice came down to UConn vs. Syracuse. I was almost an Orangeman*.

*I hope I said that correctly - no offense intended.
I didn't attend any BE School, or even a state school. I just have 2 semesters under my belt.
Well when I applied to college, BC was still in the Big East and I did apply there, but I don't think that is it. If it was gonna be one of the upcoming Big East schools I'd say UCF.
Not a BE school, but I almost went to PSU
Applied to Cincinnati, Ohio State, and Case Western. Got into all three, but it was the University of Cincinnati for me.
I only considered UC and went there mainly because of its co-op program. I got a great co-op job and they hired me after I graduated with my Associate's degree, then they paid for my Bachelor's degree.

My niece is debating Pitt-PSU right now.
It was Rutgers or the army for me.
Wouldn't have minded going to Georgetown or maybe Notre Dame. UCF was the only Florida school to which I applied...had I gone to another school in Florida, it'd have been FSU.
I got accepted into Vanderbilt, Florida and USF. Glad I chose the Bulls

But if I had to choose another Big East school it would be Georgetown
Notre Dame. Georgetown. SMU.
Only BE school I applied to was Notre Dame. Flew up there, loved the campus, just couldn't make the money situation work.
I graduated from UC....

Having said that, if I had to pick another BE school per the thread's title: I would take South Florida...gotta love Tampa and girls there.
San Diego State 04-rock
Now if you count SDSU, then I'd take SDSU as my alternate to UC....LOVE San Diego

Great school and fun school. 10 miles from the beach?

Are you kidding me? When I moved from the Mountains of Northern California to San Diego to attend San Diego State in 1976 I thought I had died and gone to heaven.04-cheers
I would've attended Cuse but I didn't want to live at home.

I loved my time at UC and my UC degree has served me well....having said that, I moved to Ohio to attend UC and looking back on it I'm wondering why in the heck I didn't look at a coastal school!
Rutgers!

As my moniker indicates, I am a Rutgers fan.

I graduated from Middlesex County College in Edison NJ, which is approximately 5 miles northeast from Rutgers.
I think we are missing the boat here...the question isn't "what school did you attend"....it is "what BE school would you attend if you didn't go to where you actually did".

Example...I graduated from UC.

But if I had to pick another BE school to attend I said USF or SDSU due to beach/girls (ha)
