How long has RR been gone now?

SDSU averaged 185/game at just under five yards a clip. Boise and TCU had some awesome defenses. I guess you missed that on the east coast...

The BE will show SDSU nothing they haven't seen already...
RR has been gone 4 years now that this season is over. Although even while Stew was in charge, WVU averaged over 200 ypg rushing. But in the RR years, WVU averaged over 300 ypg rushing most seasons. Most BEast coaches remember it very well. You just don't forget something like that, even if it's not around any longer...

SDSU gaining 185 ypg rushing is okay. But it isn't great, dude. Look at BEast rushing figures over the last 5 years and you'll see what I mean. Multiple BEast teams average that and more every season, while running on some of the best rushing defenses in the nation. If you check out the rushing figures, you might as well look over the ruching defense statistics too while you're at it...

I have checked out the BE rush defenses and didn't see any #1s. You might want to look up MW rush defenses...

Like I've said, the BE has had some solid Ds but nothing we haven't gone up against, ie TCU, BSU, Utah, BYU, etc...

Really? This year, zero. Last year, zero. '09 WVU hit 186. '08 UConn and WVU went +200. That's quite a while ago.
SDSU will find out that facing a tough defense every week is different than facing one or 2 every year...

I think we will use Dillon as a RB/Slot/Split.

You never know how a transfer will work out, but I have a real good feeling about this one.
I am also hearing today that Brice Butler (WR U$C) will be transferring to the Aztecs.

Story could be announced tomorrow.
I wish the Aztecs only the best...(except when we play one another)
Butler is coming here as wel but I didn't mention him since he'll never play in the BE.

That could turn out to be a great move. It certainly worked for Tavon Austin... 04-cheers

Congrats ... and may you get many more.

No. I follow USC because my dad is a USC alum.

Baxter had no business being a five star recruit the day he got to campus all people did was hype him up and never lived up to it. Whenever he got the ball he usually went backwards instead of forwards and I wouldn't exactly call the Pac-12 the king of defense.

He thought he would have a major role is first year didn't happen, then the same thing happened last season because he wasn't doing well and even was getting beat out by a four star recruit Amir Carslie. He probably will be good at SDSU because he won't have to compete as much but don't expect to be getting a real five star running back. He also had some minor off field issues but that never really was an issue that effected his performance he was just a bust plain and simple.

And don't listen to the Notre Dame fans lying about Kiffin running kids of campus. Armstead was a liability he was always getting injured and has a disclosed medical condition he won't share with anyone but doctors. He graduated already if I can believe right and was told if he can get healthy he can still play. And on the case of Brice Bulter I have all respect to the guy but he was a bust also. He has graduated and I would rather see him play somewhere that he can get NFL exposure rather than continue to get beat by Freshmen and Sophomores. Butler NEVER had 1000 yards receiving and a Freshman came in and did it last year.
3 star quarterback Ryan Katz has officially transferred from Oregon State to SDSU.

Yes, things are happening so quick in AztecLand right now that it is hard to keep up with (especially with football AND basketball rolling).

I am hearing that Ryan Katz and Brice Butler are in for sure (as the links show)....And that Dillon Baxter and Dontae Williams are pretty much a done deal and an announcement coming soon.

Hope all is true including Dillon and Dontae.

Typical $C post...

We have played you twice in football in our history...

-31-31 tie in San Diego in 1992

-18-15 loss at the Mosileum on a brutal homer call

You tried to keep us out of the Pac 10 for 40 years. You succeded.

You knew if we got BCS status your day as the only Big Dog in SoCal was over.

Guess what...Your time is here and now U$C will pay for its sins. 05-mafia
Kyle Prater? (transferring to Illinois, Northwestern)

Amir Carslie? (just transferred to Notre Dame)

Dillon Baxter? (transferring to SDSU)

Armond Armstead (leaving USC)

Brice Butler (heading to SDSU?)

Etc...etc...etc...

That is a lot of kids leaving the USC program just as it begins to feel the pinch of the 15 recruits per year, 75 total scholarship restriction.

But, I am sure it is just coincidence and a stellar character like Lane Kiffin would not be running kids off just to get around those restrictions. That would be immoral and improper....

P.S. I found it odd that TrojanCampaign would state in a thread to not listen to ND fans "lying" about Kiffin running kids off when no Notre Dame fan made any such comments on this board.

Just saw something that he's already been dismissed from the team. What a waste of talent...

Yep, the DBE lasted a month. If the kid can't make it in his hometown...
Ugly story if the things I have heard are true.

It appears that this dismissal was a no brainer. People have problems and then people have PROBLEMS.
