My eyes are now bleeding.

The minute someone suggests playing at the Hoover Met, they should be slapped repeatedly about the face and head with a day old walleyed pike.

Anyone with time to spare might wanna hop over there and refute a few of those falsehoods.

If anyone's keeping score:

UAB is a run-down commuter school, the City Center is crime infested, off-campus Regions Park would make for a better "on-campus stadium" (emphasis mine, stupidity theirs), and the university didn't have the funds in place to pay for it.

It's nice to see that bammer stupidity isn't limited to AL.com.

What's a Rivals?

I clicked on it and I need an alcoholic beverage to recover from what I saw.

From what I can tell, it's a place currently inhabited by wandering adherents of Sabanism.

They're hard to spot when their athletic clan is losing but can be easily identified by their trail of domestic abuse court papers and dried dingleberries.

Those people are delusional at best. There is a reason I don't visit rivals very often.

I wonder why Creoleman hasn't chimed in yet.

I think the same conversation has been going on for 15 years, & whatever they have said hasn't changed a thing.

I don't "loose" any sleep over any of their programs, so I really don't care what they have to say about mine.

The rivals main board is not worth going to. Take it from me since I have been a rivals member for over 10 years. The people who post there are not even welcome on the Alabama board (for the most part)

Many of these idiots sound like the same ones we waste our time contending with at al.sux...

They're the internet version of serial arsonists, going wherever they can often at random, just to "torch" UAB, especially with the momentum it gained with the fiasco the BOT is trying to pull on us with the OCS project. Anyone with good sense can see the obvious. These numbskulls are happily "blind", I shall reserve the energy I'm tempted to use to go to this Rivals site and give them what for...I think we have an ally at Rivals, unless I'm mistaken, David Nuno, who also hosts a Rivals radio program on Yahoo Sports, has nothing but good things to say about UAB, but on the other hand, what have we got to lose by returning fire at these posers putting down our athletic program? After all, Rivals is national, not local. like those lames at al.sux.

Hmmmm...The more national exposure our situation gets, the better, hat's off to "Simple Man" for bringing this to our attention. The hell with it, Unleash The Dragon on their *****!!! I'm signing up tonight and going after them myself. Don't let this **** go unchallenged or unanswered...This is a new year...We're not going to take everything shoveled at us anymore!
