30-vehicle pileup closes SB I-75 in Grant County
DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) -
Kentucky State Police says a crash involving between 30 and 35 vehicles has shut down southbound I-75 in Grant County.
Police say the accident occurred around 11 a.m. between the 156 mile marker (Dry Ridge) and the 159 milemarker (Barnes Road).
Dispatchers say slick and snowy roadways are to blame for the crash. They estimate it will be at least four hours before the crash is cleared. Motorists are urged to find an alternate route if they are headed that direction.
So far, no serious injuries have been reported.
