So something like that? That central division is pretty awful.

If you could replace UTSA and TSU with 2 out of Temple, Navy, FIU, UNT, FAU, or ASU then you've got something swallowable, and kind of exciting.

You schedule for 8 conference games, but the last opponent would be a seeded opponent from the nearest division in a semifinal game. The championship game would obviously pit the semifinal winners.
