Owns two Falcon records after today:

Most receiving yards ever, breaking Terrance Mathis' record, and only Falcons receiver with 100 catches in two seasons.

But but but he didn't play in the SEC. How can that be?
I talk Falcons with a gump who is of course fellating Julio Jones at every opportunity. I just tell him, "Yeah, Jones is no doubt talented, but where does Matty Ice look on 3rd down?"

Shut him right up.
The Falcons will be lucky to make it past the 1st round in the playoffs.

I haven't looked at the board yet to see who they would play, but it may be the Saints.
A Pro Bowl snub again, this year.

Damn, it!! Roddy has been double teamed and sometimes triple teamed the last two years and he still finds an opening. Jones should be buying Roddy a Porsche this year for letting him catch some balls.

Roddy made the Pro Bowl AFTER someone could not make it last year. He's been a Pro Bowler for a couple of years now.

With their win today and Detroit's loss, they'll play the winner of tonight's Giants/Cowboys game.

Detroit gets to get dismantled by the Saints.

The Falcons may indeed get knocked out in the first round, but they're playing really well right now (stomping at New Orleans, notwithstanding).

Remember, the Packers barely made the playoffs last year.

Yeah, but they went into Atlanta and burned that town down last year.

My point was that Atlanta could be this year's Green Bay.

I like 'em(Falcons). Especially if they get Turner carrying the load. Saints are going to be hard to stop, though.
With that scenario, the Falcons definitely catch a break.

The Saints would demolish the Falcons next week.
Meanwhile, a former Blazer football player is maybe one day going to be invited to Canton.

That is amazing, isn't it?

But not the first Blazer to take part in the induction ceremonies in Canton. Who was the first?

Watson?
Atlanta doesn't have the defense to get to the Super Bowl. The offense is well balanced, but we saw them last week against a great offense, and it wasn't pretty. I think Detroit could give NO fits. Both are dome teams, and Detroit has a ferocious pass rush. I doubt they'll win, but if they can force Brees into some turnovers I wouldn't be shocked if their offense can keep up.

And I think Roddy should be inducted into the HOF the first year he's eligible(if he keeps this up for just a few more years), but Cris Carter is somehow still not in it, so who knows.

I'm stumped by this one. I do know we had a former coach (Pat Sullivan) in the college football HOF in South Bend.

I would be shocked if they could stymie Drew. Just don't see it. He's en fuego. NOLA rushing game ain't bad. NOLA in a 2 TD win.
The only thing is Brees gets a lot of balls batted at the line. If some of those wind up in Detroit hands, it could happen. I think NO will win(probably by 2 TDs), I just think Detroit will hang around for a while.
