This cut is not $1M towards athletics, get your facts straight. This will result in a reduction of about $150k in the athletic department. Also it is up to the university itself whether or not to apply it to academics. Why don't you worry about pulling your own head out of your ass. I have come to believe that the biggest problem facing the ULL fans is an obvious lack of reading skills. Do they teach English in that area? Look at the article and I believe paragraph 16. That information was published statewide though through various outlets and is figures supplied by the ULL ADMINISTRATION to the Board of Regents as to how they would make their required $3.32mil reduction. So, thats a hit rather than a miss. Secondly, the formular for determining how much taxpayer funds a university can transfer to athletics determines how much IS ALLOWED, not how much is required. A school is not REQUIRED to transfer anything, only ALLOWED a certain percentage if they want. So, another hit for me, actually a home run and I win the game. So far as what our stadium looks like one can form their own opinion, yours is what it is and you are entitled to that.
