Hope he enjoys that "greener" grass up there in Oxford. Ole Miss is a dumpster fire. Just like with Ray Cotton, I'd much rather have a 2 star kid who actually wants to be at USA than a 3 star who thinks he's better than USA. Thanks for opening up a scholarship for someone who will actually appreciate the opportunity to wear the red, white and blue and work hard to make us proud.
Well said.
He was red shirted, how could he possibly get in the game.. Do you know your rules?
Do you? A redshirt is not a designation you have to make before the season starts. They could have put him in the game at any time, but they didn't.

Who would want to jepordize a year of eligibility for one play, especially when you don't playing in a conference. That's stupid..
He has 3 years of eligibility. one year wasted..............

It would not have been for a play, but for half a season, had he been a worthwhile addition to the paying roster.
He wasn't, for many reasons.

It's not worth half a season.. With what you had never would have made a difference anyway. Man up a play with the Big Boys.. Cupcake!
I played with Williams in high school, we know what he can do! I have no clue who you are, but we will see you on the field. This isn't Miss Valley or Lamar...

We'll, at the rate he changes schools, you'll probably get him at Troy State soon enough.
Then we can all be happy.
Bottom line, if he was any good, he would have played in games at South Alabama. He was also probably flunking out of school. You will never hear his name again.

The perfect summation of the Carl Williams experience at USA.
