Finally, you get no argument from me today.

Big difference in losing to Wake Forest or Louisville by single-digits and losing to South Florida by double-digits

Just have to wonder what's going to motivate some of these guys???
The only thing I hope is that UC will be chomping at the bit to redeem itself in its first game back.
The more I think about last night...........the more I get sick of guys like Kirkland who just don't bring it. I see a guy like Jihad Muhammed who atleast seemed to be trying......and then Kirkland who just doesn't try very hard. He is a total airhead. I don't know what Kirkland is thinking........does he think he's arrived???

Very, very frustrating team.

My worst fear is more of the same next year. It makes me want them to stick Downey, Banks, Bright and Herrera in right away and struggle through a season to maybe get to the promised land down the road. Because I know it possibly will be more of the same next season with Kirkland and White in there. There is no way it can be expected to play either one of those guys down low - Huggs has to play Hicks, Herrera, and switch in McGowan.
It would be nice to snag another PF prospect.
Maybe Kirk has such high self asteem that he will go pro. If you think about it, he would fit right in with that bunch.

What a waste - the guy Huggs says has the most potential of any player he's had in 20 years of coaching...three fourths of the way through his college career, and I'll guarantee most NBA scouts are barely aware of who he is. Thank God for parents who are doctors, I guess.

Give me more guys from tough neighborhoods with something to prove, and fewer pampered wanna-be's who have no concept of the meaning of work and preparation.
