During the Utah/GT game on CBS they put up the bowl results by conference...no non-AQ conferences were on the graphic.

yeah and the morons titled the graphic "BCS Conferences..."

that shows their stupidity that they don't know we're ALL a BCS conference. it's just some are AQ and some are non-AQ. idiots!
Back when they created the award they set the minimum games at 3, to keep the MAC and SBC and maybe a few other conferences out. I think the MAC only had 2 bids back then. But now the MAC has those min. 3 guaranteed bowls, and managed to get 5 teams in this year.

I guess they can raise the limit, but how high is it going to have to be in order to keep ignoring the MAC? The MAC will have 5+ bowl eligible and Quality teams every year from here on out.

MAC football is the premiere non-AQ league in ALL THE LAND!

Yea, big surprise. Can't have those non-AQ conferences comparing favorably or anything like that.
IF NIU wins and the Big 12 split their final two games, it will be between and the MAC and SEC. (SEC has a lot of games to play).

And ESPN would have to deal with LSU vs. AL.

One win and one loss or just toss the game out????

Really? It reads awfully assumptive (and ignorant).

They don't include the MAC not because there is a conspiracy against the non-AQ conferences. They don't include them because it doesn't occur to them that anyone cares. And for the most part, they are right. They correctly assume that most college football fans want to know which major conferences did the best in the bowls. The minor conferences are irrelevant except to themselves. You either like MAC football or you don't. Expecting the rest of the country to care is like spitting into the Grand Canyon and waiting for the splash.

How can the rest of the country care about something they don't even know about because it's swept under the rug?

The set it at 3 bowl minimum because that is the only way you can determine a decent average.

3-0 (1.000)
2-1 (0.667)
1-2 (0.333)
0-3 (0.000)

A conference with 3 bowl games can win the bowl challenge by going undefeated or maybe with a 2-1 record though unlikely.

They will probably just count it as a win, not a win and a loss.
Big 12 looks strong!

Um, they do include the MAC.

No. Come on now. That makes way too much sense. Howl's conspiracy theory must be correct.

Please enlighten me. I must have missed the words "in my opinion" or "I think". You stated something as a fact when it is not. It's pretty simple.
