While Tebow was removing all doubt that he isn't really an NFL caliber qb on CBS, on Fox today Stafford engineered one of the best fourth quarter comebacks I've seen with a 99 yard td drive, with the TD pass coming at .39 seconds left in the game. 02-13-banana

Oh yeah, and Orton beat the Pack today.
When we didn't get 4th & inches, I thought it might be over. Then when Oakland made it 27-13, I really thought it was over. The Lions erased my doubt again. Love the motivation and attitude of the team, a level we haven't seen in umpteen years.
And Scott Mitchell will no longer hold any Detroit passing records!
Looks like God took the day off, and let the anti-Christ Lions take over. 02-13-banana
Watching the Chargers take apart the vaunted Ravens defense right now, I think the Lions better have their "A" game next Saturday, Rivers is freaky good in December.

Then, Stafford is just freaky good when he's healthy.
Wonder how many 99 yard game winning drives there have been in the NFL. I didn't watch much of the game but I did see this drive. How do you let John Calvin Johnson run right down the middle of the field and your in a tampa 2 so he is matched up against a linebacker? Great drive but that was a weak throw and even weaker defense.
It was not a 99 yard game winning drive. The final game winning drive was a 98 yard drive. Also, I think you mean 39.0 seconds, not .39 seconds.

Long Live Tim Tebow! :domokun:

When you have nothing, go for syntax. It wurks.

It is spelled works, not wurks.

And because I'm feeling generous, (AKA I win), I will give you this if you haven't seen it already.

Four 4th quarter comebacks this season.

Though to be fair, I think they wouldn't need them as often if they made a point of throwing a deep ball to Megatron twice each quarter. They should never go into a 4th quarter where Pettigrew has as many targets as CJ. Johnson double covered deep has about an equal chance of catching the ball as Pettigrew catching a 4 yard curl route given his dropsies.

While the skit is funny, It is just that, a skit... and from SNL. It is not true. And if you are watching SNL to get your facts, well, I suppose it's better than watching MSNBC....
You're off like a prom dress. I think it's time for Moe to come back and post one of his famous, "WHOOOOOSH" posts.
So what you're saying is you do get your facts from SNL... interestingly enough, that explains a lot.

No knucklehead, but since you have swallowed the whole lead past the sinkers, I'll type slowly and explain just for your benefit.

See, I was channeling the old "Hooked on Phonics" joke saying it "wurks" and you went on to arrogantly and stupidly (a feat in itself) try to correct me. I really thought you were playing dumb until now, in fact, I'd welcome and not even challenge it if you said you still were playing!

Kimbo and I were having a joke at your expense, not even talking about the SNL skit which I saw on Saturday Night already, it wasn't news or new to me.
*Sigh*

I didn't realize all of this would fly over your head. How do you not know that I'm kidding? I don't know how to make this any more obvious other than to put "I'm just kidding!" after every post.

And yes, I get what you were doing... Thanks.

Broncos1123 - Negative (-3): Arrogant and stupid, not a good combination and doesn't represent WMU very well. :-(

Wow... way to treat your fellow Alum. You're clearly a real stand up kind of guy. This says more about you than anything. Well done.

That's awesome, I'm happy that you played it this way, as promised, no challenge here!
