The Caguns band got to march through the French Quarter. That's great. How come that hasn't happened in the past with other Sun Belt bands?

I was wondering the same thing. The Sound didn't get to in 2008 or 2010...

The best the Sound got was to play near canal Street outside the hotel. I would have loved to march through the quarter listening to the band.
