finish the statement. When was the last time we had a win this satisfying. Personally, this win has been satisfying more than any other in the last 2-3 years. . .at least. The fact we came off a terrible loss to USF and actually played well against Iowa, and this being the NCAA tourney, I'd say I haven't been this happy over a win in quite some time.
Since Steve Logan and the 'Cats beat D West in Cintas
well, beating UL twice last year after the drubbing in Freedom Hall, especially the layup by Kirkland to zeal the victory in the Conference Semis was pretty satisfying.
I'd only have to back to last year's C-USA semifinal game where we beat Louisville. Kirkland's little turn around jumper had the whole place crazy go nuts.
What about Field Willams hitting the shot within the last seconds of the game against Louisville.
There are several recent ones for me:

- 2002, beating Marquette twice after Cordell Henry's chest ripping crap.

- 2002, after Memphis was supposedly ready to take over C-USA (or doesn't Memphis say that every year?)

- 2003, our "bad year", smacking UL all over the court by about 20 or 30 points. So bad that Pitino bailed. Wait, that was the refs fault.

- Last year we beat Slick twice, but two of those were basically at home, so I wouldn't really say "satisfying".
Even though Oregon ended up being not as good as advertised, the Oregon victory was pretty sweet.
