I had the same thought. If Skyline has any cahones, they start a UD/UC shootout, and kick Xavier to the curb.

It's great publicity for Skyline as far as getting their name out there. Next year's game will get a ton of publicity - locally and nationally. Do you really think anyone will boycott Skyline because they sponsor a game featuring the two major local programs? Have you ever had a 3-way with a cheese coney on the side? They won't lose a customer. I'm getting hungry for some right now. It would be stupid for them to stop sponsoring the shootout.

I had a large, juicy 3-way today. It was quite good.

There's a fine line PR wise between famous and infamous, notoriety and notorious. The brawl yesterday is likely a step over the line into the infamous/notorious category.
There is a saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity. But if you are a restaurant that portrays itself as a family establishment, there is such a thing as bad publicity.
I wouldn't be surprised if Skyline does not want to be associated with the series any longer.

I'm jealous. My dish of choice is a large 5 way w/ the beans on the side (topped with crumbled oyster crackers, a healthy dose of hot sauce, ground pepper and the beans), but I didn't want to create a controversy in the previous post so I kept it classic and simple.
But I shouldn't ruin this thread by taking it off-topic. So I suggest rather than canceling their sponsorship of the shootout, Skyline should expand it and dish up the Skyline 5-way by adding UD, Miami and WSU.

Onions and beans are disgusting.

Ctip, that's not fair; you have me salivating in Chicago where I can't get original Skyline .

I love Skyline, but wow has that place gotten expensive. Ate there a few weeks ago with two friends. After looking at our bills we could have had 3-4 large pizzas delivered for the same price.
I guess that's what you call smart business. They know addictive their product is.

What do you order (or where do you get those cheap pizzas)? A nice four way bean is a cost effective lunch.

I had the chili cheese skyfries for dinner, the win. Love those.

I had a large 3-way and cheese coney the other night and it was in the $8 range.

If Skyline drops the game, maybe LaRosa's will pick it up. Buddy is really good about supporting amateur boxing.
