That tells me that the BE is doomed to fail in football. No committment from those signing on. Those being added have no loyalty. They just want the BE for their money.

I knew the western teams would not sign without an escape clause.

I wonder how this affects the lawsuit. It sounds like the BE admitting it is on shaky ground.

Too bad there ain't a law for contributing to the delinquency of a moron. He has nothing worthy of posting on here, he contributes nothing to the conversation and does nothing but take potshots at East Carolina. I usually enjoy alot of your posts WarTorn and actually think the world of what Boise State has achieved (with or without their new association with the Big East), Boise is actually a favorite of mine. Dig the Broncos and the Blue Field and think its a travesty that Kellen Moore wasn't invited to the Heisman party, but I can't stand a schmuck who sits around all day waiting for his chance to dog on ECU.

Even when ECU fans continue to start asinine threads like this one? The guy was simply replying in kind to the continuous assault being waged by Pirate fans since they were passed over. It has gotten so bad on The Big East board with ECU fans whining that moderators there had to put a stop to it. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been stopped here.

Last time I checked this isn't a BE board, and the assult has been going both ways for quite a while. To act like this is all ECU fans fault is naive.

Well, you haven't heard me doing it. And I've seen alot of other ECU fans that ain't doin it either. When you say "ECU fans", you generalize us all into one category. I don't do that in my posts. The other dude has continuously lumped ECU fans and taken shots. Don't know what's asinine about the thread itself, but there are definitely some asinine posters writing asisine statements. I just enjoy the viewpoints on realignment (good or bad), but the dude is trollin and ought to be banned. Peace out.

No school has any "loyalty" and just wants to use conferences to make more money.

Looks to me like Boise is expecting one of two things to happen. No AQ/BCS after a 2014 or UofL and other original Big Easters leave further weakening an already weak conference.

Well he did at least link an article and offered smething to discuss. You just hurled an insult at ECU that wasn't at all on the topic of his link. The topic is Boise's get out of jail free card from the BE. This can either get on that topic or end up in the smack forum. I'm betting smack sooner than later.

How about the Academies? If what is being reported is true, Air Force turned down the Beast and elected to stay in the MWC/Alliance. Maybe for reasons other than Money, but stayed none the less. Go figure, the Military setting the standard.

I have nothing against ECU. But the fact is : A lot of the ECU fans have become unbearable on here and are close to eagleweiser and miko status. I have said over and over again Southern Miss should of been one of the first teams picked for an AQ conference and ECU has did enough for a football only invite as well.
With that being said the joke was great and he got his +2.
