I just got back from Indy, and yes, I'm definitely sad because of the loss. I never want a season to end, and so when it does, it hurts. That being said; I thought we played a decent game. If we coulda hit a shot in the last 5 minutes (it seemed we could buy a bucket), maybe the outcome would've been different. We stayed with them til the end though, and yes we could've played better and beaten them, but we gave them a game.
Anyhow, I'd just like to say I was really impressed by the amount of ex-bearcat players that were there. I saw Steve Logan, Melvin Levett, Kenyon Martin, DerMarr Johnson, Ruben Patterson, Corey Blount, Sean Myrick....and that's all I can think of but I think there were more. The amount of support from these guys was amazing, and it was really cool to see them there. Tony Bobbitt would've been there, but he had to stay with the Lakers. To see these guys, who have mostly been successful at the next level, or in Mel's case, have remained very positive influences on the program, was touching. I don't know how many other programs could claim such a showing, and it says a lot about our program that we have such support from former players. So yes, we lost, but at least we were well supported in doing so, and our guys have some good examples to look up to.

Yeah, UK may have Ashley Judd comeback (which I think you bearcatgirl are every bit as attractive and more cuz you are a UC fan), but UC has actual players comeback.

I get the impression most UK players don't want to enter the land of the hillbillys again once they finish playing there.
