Honestly, I can see us going 1-4 in bowl games with either NIU, Toledo, or Temple getting the wins. Sorry, but this conference has sucked recently in postseason

I could see it, but really it wouldn't be a stretch if we swept either. Our biggest underdoggy is WMU vs. Purdue at 2.5. Utah St. And Wyoming can't be that good. Solid yes, but not overwhelming better tallent than what temple or OU has to offer.

Just wanted to stop by and say good luck to everybody. Let's surprise everybody. Bowl season starts tomorrow.

I think the MAC is stronger this year than in the past.

Wasn't the MAC 2 - 2 last year (NIU and MIA the winners with UT and Ohio losing)?

I'll predict 3 - 2 this year.

I'll take 3-2, but will be disappointed. This should be the minimum, the MAC is solid this year at the top.

I'll be good with 4-1 or better.

I think the odds are better that the MAC goes 5-0 than the 1-4 predicted. That 1-4 prediction is tied to the "old MAC" this is the "NEW MAC" get used to winning in the post-season!

I predict 4-1 for the MAC this bowl season...
One team always seems to stink it up...( Might even be UT, but hopefully not)...

The MAC has been on the rise since 2008.

It started with the MAC West getting really good with CMU and Ball State with Temple and Ohio building programs in the East.

Its starting to show up for the MAC now in bowl games. The first couple of seasons after Marshall left the conference had kind of hit a lull after peaking in the early 2000's.

With OU pulling out a great win today the MAC is in a prime position to go something like 4-1 in bowls this year. I see the PU-WMU game as toss up, and although Ark State is a slight favorite in the GoDaddy, I am confident that NIU will win that game. Toledo has a tough match-up with Air Force, but I expect that game to come down to the wire as well. Winning 2 outta 3 of these games is very "doable". Even if we only go 1-2 and finish 3-2 overall that would be a very respectable bowl season for the conference.

MAC 3-1.

Rooting hard for NIU, 4 – 1 for the MAC would be a great showing!
