Seems to be conflicting reports of a couple of the last open bowl berths.....didn't the article about the WMU invite to the LCB specifically mention that other MAC teams like Temple and Toledo had to be "taken care of" first??
toledo is going to a bowl....count on it....no way would WMU be announced if Toledo had not been placed
But where are they going?

Military Bowl vs. Air Force
Wow..that would be quite a coup! And a big surprise as supposedly although Air Force preferred the Military Bowl the Independence Bowl had first dibs on them and wanted the Falcons in their bowl!
Find out for sure in 20 minutes with the ESPN bowl selection show coming up.
Toledo should crush them, but the Military Bowl seems like a better fit for Temple.
Maybe the Military Bowl wanted a high-octane offense and didn't Temple already play there?

With Air Force in the game you don't have to worry about attendance.

Toledo out ranks Temple and wanted the military bowl... 7 hour drive.... Sucks for Temple (new Mexico) but better then staying home....

No need to insult Temple... Petty
Good news for the entire conference. Only Ball State is not going bowling. Real opportunity for the MAC to shine.

I don't think an insult was intended.

I am not seeing the insult there. Do you think you have a high octane offense (at least compared to Toledo since that is the comparison)? Temple did play at this bowl so that isn't a slam. And the last statement is fully on AF so I don't see it there either.

What is the insult on temple?
This was a crazy bowl day. Toledo was traded twice in bowl dealings, ending up in the Military Bowl.

Do you know who traded them? I'm guessing LCPB to BBVA to military?

LCB to Kraft Hunger to Military.

From what I have heard, ESPN wanted Temple in NM to get high tv ratings. AF alone was going to have good ratings in the Military Bowl so ESPN pushed Temple to NM bowl
