You have to have play station like numbers to have a chance for any award if you are playing for a non-AQ program. WKU's Jack Doyle and UL's Ladarius Green were both preseason nominee's. Green did make the semi finals but neither the final 3. Only Eifert of Notre Dame had more receptions than Doyle. I know Jack's lack of TD's hurt him but to have 52 receptions for a non-passing offense is tremendous. It is a shame but you have to admit these awards are jaded towards BCS programs and winning programs especially.

Completely agree, he was yalls passing offense, I still say LG was the better one, but Doyle was an absolute stud unto himself. Green leads the country in a bunch of career stats for tight ends, and him being injured for a few games this year demolished his chances cuzz according to them, any AQ player is better.
