Toledo's OOC schedule is really impressive.
Thanks, we tried.

You gotta admit, we've got no business playing a schedule any tougher than that though.
The Buffalo loss is the one that hurts. Akron's loss won't look as bad as people think.

Way to jump on the school that's won 8 games in the previous two seasons.
Why no mention of Western Michigan?

WMU plays Colorado at 11:30 AM ET on ESPN3.
Been a topic on the Kent board. The MAC’s top teams have to win their winnable OOC games if we are even going to think about a multiple bid year.

This message goes for us, too. Have to change the mentality from of a loss Tuesday to Cleveland State is acceptable because they are good to we need to win this game if we want an at large.

I’ll be pulling for the Broncos. Get this one!

Actually, it didn't show up HERE.

Should have looked at a different site.

It sucks, that's why Temple plays @Toledo December 7th.

When you haven't won 10 games in a season in 5 years, and only have 9 scholarship players, I'll take a soft OOC schedule...

When your highly touted (by a certain fan) football team gets drilled at home by another team you take your shots at that team when you can.
It's not even about that, that really is a truly horrendous schedule.
Its early and you have some tough games for some teams. We get a better idea for where these teams are in a month or two. No ready to write off a few teams based on some early loses. WMU, Akron and Ball State playing some good competition. They have dropped 7 games combined so far, but its early. MAC needs those teams to do well to move the rpi.

Aw, come on. Temple doesn't drag down the schedule that much.
Temple is soooo superior, they would never be caught dead in a conference with a team that's only won 15 games in the last 3 seasons like Toledo.

oh wait, looks like Fordham from the A10 has only won 12 games in the last 3 years. imagine that.
WMU drops the 7th place game in PR to Colorado, 81-76. WMU led by 12 at one point. Rough, rough start for the Broncos.
All these close losses COULD come to bite the conference, should we have a team vying for an at-large bid.

And Fordham would destroy Toledo.
Better effort today (looked more like the team we expected) but WMU should have won that game. CU didn't really get the lead until the final 5 minutes. Broncos are their own worst enemy right now. Another typical Hawkins slow start to the season.
