1-5 today for the MAC. If the MAC wants at-large bids they gotta start winning these type of games. Akron was looking good, but they were shut down last 4 minutes. 30 fouls on Akron tonite foul trouble doomed them in second half.

Word on EMU (their games are on webcast so I watched):
Murphy can coach. Team plays very good defense including the 'Cuse zone and full court. Not a lot of talent ON THE COURT this year.
Team apparently will beat the teams they should (and that is not trivial - just beating worse teams is a good start).
The team has 3 very good transfer sitouts: Riley, Bryant and Harrison. Surprisingly Harrison was described as the best of the 3.
Riley is a center, Bryant a combo forward (maybe a PF in a SF body) and Harrison a 6'6' wing.
Each has nice size. Riley is 7', Bryant 6'7" and Harrison 6'6".
