Me Thinks TREX been playing FB too long without helmet......
I played semi-pro FB for several years in the Cincinnati area (Pinhaus). I also played for the Augusta Eagles when I was stationed at Fort Gorden, GA.
It's a viable alternative for those that love the game and do not want to stop playing after HS/College. I know our team used to get late additions (some were the last players cut from NFL camps). The TE on our team had played in the Rose Bowl.
You definitely play for love of the game as there is no salary and the crowds are sparse. You even furnished your own equipment.
Good luck to the Cowboys and those that continue to try and play this game we love so much.
