RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Commonwealth University Head Women's Basketball Coach Marlene Stollings (pictured) has announced her team's 2012-13 schedule. The 29-game slate features 11 opponents that appeared in the postseason a year ago, including NCAA Tournament participants Ohio State, St. Bonaventure, Dayton and Liberty.

In all, seven A-10 teams qualified for the postseason in 2011-12 with nationally ranked St. Bonaventure reaching the NCAA Sweet 16. Reigning A-10 Tournament champion Dayton also played in the NCAA Tournament, while Temple (third round), Saint Joseph's (second round), Richmond (second round), Charlotte and Duquesne participated in the WNIT. Meanwhile, the Rams face four postseason squads in their non-conference schedule, including nationally ranked Ohio State, perennial Big South Conference power Liberty, UMKC (WNIT) and Manhattan (WBI semifinal).

The 2012-13 season marks several firsts for VCU Women's Basketball. Not only are the Rams beginning their inaugural season in the A-10, but VCU has new leadership in Stollings, who was named the program's 13th head coach on June 5, 2012.
