At least if NIU wins, it boosts our SOS and may get the MAC closer to having a top25 team. And EMU has proven to play some good D this year. They may have a better shot in slowing down NIU.

If WMU pulls off a couple wins, I'd like to have BSU and EMU's records look a bit weaker.

Who knows? We were down after a crushing loss to NIU, but that is a lame excuse. We should have crushed them.

This could get interesting. The MAC could end up with a bunch of 7-5 teams.

Yuck, we played like crap in that half. Two costly fumbles, one of which was within the 15-yard line and returned for a TD. Then a ton of penalties on NIU. Keep playing like this and Ball State will win by a lot. Doesn't help they get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Gutsy but obviously a show of respect for the NIU offense. He knows the only way Ball State pulls this one out is if they keep there foot on the gas an run up the score. If NIU gets the ball on both fourth downs Ball State is probably down or tied right now.

Fat lady warming up? NIU takes their first lead on a 27 yd Harnish to Palmer TD. Nifty run after the catch. BSU defense starting to wear down.

35 - 31 NIU with just under 13 minutes left.

Really, really tough to stop Huskies when Harnish is on.

Another MAC tilt with the combined points well above 60. Kind of odd being in November too... Seems that when it gets colder and the season long grind has taking its toll on players, these shootouts tend to become less frequent.
