Every debate I watch, Newt is the man. He knows what he is talking about. He is incredibly intelligent. My biggest issue is his arrogance. I guess I can look past it of he improves the economy, gets BUSINESSES to create jobs because of demand and continues to protect our country.

No. Think cain is done. Newt is a bright man and always liked what he had to say. Also, when he was speaker, he pushed thru a lot. He is a doer
Perry? Done. Cain? An oddity that is done. Bachman? Never got started. Santorum? Never got started. Gringich? Brilliant mind that is unelectable.

That leaves Mitt Romney, period. The nomination will go to Romney. No doubt about that.

The republican party is a mess. Romney probably will get the election. And as we have seen in the repub debates, he will continue to be attacked for his flip-flops. He pretty much will say whatever it takes to get elected. He needed to be more liberal to win in Massachussetts, so he says he is pro-choice. He said he wanted to get the loop-holes out of the tax laws, but now he changed his tune on that. He got a similar version of Obama care passed in Massachussetts. The far right-wing doesn't know what to do with him. Plus he is a Mormon, which many repubs don't like.

Dang, WD, look at you, being all cool and rational 03-wink

I agree. I wouldn't call him brilliant, but he is smart guy. He has a lot of personal problems though that like WD said, makes him unelectable. He also tends to say things on occasion that are a lil off the wall.

I REALLY cant see anyone but Romney. Huntsman is the only other all around smart/unoffensive guy in the room but he is too liberal to win a republican nomination.
Gary Johnson or Buddy Roemer would make a better President than any of them with the possible exception of Huntsman. It's a shame all 3 have led a state plus Roemer has been in the senate and Huntsman an ambassador; none of them have a snowballs chance.

Well that means President Gingrich is the 45th POTUS. 04-cheers
Yep have to agree with WD...Newt is unelectable..certainly smart , I certainly dont agree with any of his beliefs..not trustworthy..

Too bad Gary Johnson's campaign never took off. The only guy in the field I could be happy with.

same words used on Nixon. People held their nosed and elected him not once but twice. Expecting history is repeat.

The vote will be an up or down on Obama. Unemployment and housing SUCKING he has to find votes. Last Tuesday election results in VA are noteworthy.
