If there was a time to "steal" some of PSU's best recruits now is that time. Graham's system can work with 4 and 5 star recruits because thats proven in the SEC. Time for Graham to really "dig in" on the recruiting trail.
Certainly, many committed PSU recruits are better than many of the Pitt recruits (at least based on starts) but I don't expect much.

However, I don't expect Pitt to pull any committed scholarships. The bottom line is that do you think that some of the committed PSU recruits are better than the ones that Pitt is currently recruiting for the remaining scholarships?
I'm not sure if there will be much of a fallout. Then again, Paterno is highly unlikely to be back next year and we've all seen what happens when you need to find a new coach. Of course their process may be smoother than ours. We'll see. I don't really expect to benefit much.
Taking the horror and disgust of what happened out of the equation, It would be a huge boon if Noah Spence comes to Pitt because of this. I don't know much about the PSU recruits so far, but I hope Pitt can snag a few. Rutgers may get an even bigger boost because PSU focuses a lot on the eastern part of PA plus NJ.
This scandal will make waves, but the earthquake comes when Joe Pa retires. He wasn't going to coach forever, and with just about all of the coaching records already and now this, I wouldn't be surprised if this is his last year. After that, PA becomes fair game for Pitt to recruit.
Well I have already been mistaken on this front - see Spence.

Not only do I expect Pitt to benefit, I think it will also spill over into Va Tech, UVa, Maryland, and Syracuse as well.
It would definitely be a great time for Pitt to haul in a mega class. Maybe we can become to top program in PA.
Looking at their scout page, I only see a few that could possibly switch.

Eugene Lewis, 4* WR

J.P. Holtz, 4* TE, from Pittsburgh doubtful though as he's a TE and Pitt is now a spread team.

Nyeem Wartman, 3* OLB

Non-commits turned off by PSU.

Noah Spence 5* DE he has Pitt down as low interest though.
4 Star OL Joey O"Conner(Windsor Colorado) just decommitted. I didn't see any ACC schools on his profile.
