Yes, I believe Eastern can defeat Buffalo, however, the team has to play smarter than it did, against Ball State. Eliminate penalties, especially when it's third and long. Personally, I think our defensive backs play too far off the receiver, which not only allows them to make the catch, but to maneuver for more yardage. I liked the stance of the defensive lineman, by the fourth quarter. They did not get in a three point stance, but stood upright, and I think it caused the Ball State offensive linemen, to be confused in the blocking assignments. I thought we got more pressure on their quarterback, in that last quarter. Those are the things that I would like to see, against Buffalo.

Yes we can and WILL win Saturday! Just keep doing what we're doing, run the ball and let Gillett manage the game. Defensively, just play aggressively and smart. From here on out, these are all must win games.

Buffalo has some close losses to Ball St and NIU earlier this season. Their most recent loss to Miami (O.) might indicate a team that is down on itself. Jeff Quinn has a rocky road at Buffalo replacing Turner Gill. That being said EMU will face a better QB than they did last year with Chazz Anderson a transfer from Cincy-his TD to interception ratio is about even.
Oliver is a decent RB closing in on 1,000 yards for the season and Rivers and Neutz are good WRs. The defense again allows alot of points and don't pressure the QB very well.
