I heard on the radio that the AD and VP of finance knew about this but covered it up (apparently Joe Pa reported it as soon as he found out). This is far, far worse than an NCAA violation. I have no use for pedophiles, or those who enable them.

Maybe this will be enough for the B1G to kick them out. Then the ACC swoops in.

Could be wrong, but the B1G doesn't strike me as the type of organization that publicly admits mistakes. Ever.

I well remember the 2 Pitt/Georgia Sugar Bowls (1/1/77 and 1/1/82: Pitt won both of 'em) and there is no question that Pitt was the more feared program in those days -- and they could be, again.
Another heart-breaking loss for the Panthers tonight, though. The way they keep losing close games (Iowa, ND, Cincy) reminds me of the NFL's Carolina Panthers. Just know that ACC football fans are pulling for Pitt (and Syracuse, too). A few million extra fans didn't do much good though...

Yep. Pitt has an AWFUL QB. Pitt would look a good bit better with just an average D1 QB.

I started reading that grand jury report from the Pete Thamel tweet and had to stop as I was getting sick to my stomach. That was the most disgusting thing I've ever read and I was completely shocked that the administration would cover that up. The world is really going to hell. I hope the Big 10 kicks out Pedophile U and we never pick them up as #15 or 16. What an absolute complete disgrace! I feel so sorry for those kids. I'm sorry but to hell with football and all the money involved with it if it causes smart men in positions of power to have a complete lack of compassion for defenseless children. Read the grand jury report. There is no doubt whatsoever that the AD Curley, Presiden Spanier and Joe Pa himself knew the whole story and all failed to report it to the police. I'm so p**sed off about this. They should all go to prison for a long time. They are a disgrace. A total disgrace.
