I'm never retiring. Seems like every one I know who retires drops dead a short time later.

I retired in 2006, moved to SC, and just returned from a 366 mile bicycle ride from Jacksonville to Tampa. Never felt better! Seems like most people who drop dead early into retirement never get a hobby or a passion outside of work. I was born to retire.

I like your style. If I decide to retire, I'm going to mountain bike and ski on an almost daily basis, season depending. I think you're right about the passion. Work isn't mine anymore, it's a means to an end.
