Can we get more?
I hope so, but hype going on in Tuscaloosa is going to lure a whole lot of people to their TV set. I do suspect we will double or triple the crowd we would have had if Monday's news hadn't come out.
One possibility is that the obviously high-handed behavior of the BOT might have given our cause more impact than merely a delay vote with the matter on the agenda would have. More people are now more aware of the relationship between UAB sports and an obviously hostile BOT than before. There may always be that "Stephen Decatur" faction: "My BOT, right or wrong, my BOT", but most are not likely to be so doctrinaire. They see that a strong program in the midst of 1/4 of the state's population as a good thing for the state as a whole, even if the reactionaries on the BOT are still somewhere in the 1800s.

You overestimate the average Alabamian's willingness to change opinions even in the face of new data.

I have no idea what to expect. We're 1-7, it's going to be cold, and the MOST IMPORTANT GAME IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND will be going on down the road. Hell, even our game is on TV.

Having said that, this may be the first game I've ever looked forward to attending because I was pissed off, so who knows?
Don't want to hear the "going to be cold" excuse, when it is going to be the same temperature an hour down the road. Or did PBJ have heated seats put in Bryant Denny Stadium too.

I frankly don't think any of those things I listed are a good excuse not to be there. I'm looking at this game as: If I ever doubted my team needs me, it sure as hell needs me now.

Those kids bust ass for us every week and have for a long time. It's past time we reciprocated.

Time to put your mouth where your money is, Blazer fans.
Oh I wasn't saying you in particular. I'm talking in general.
I have no idea of how many are going to be at stinking LF tomorrow. GO BLAZERS!

All I know is I'll be there to cheer on my Blazers!
Im guessing attendance will be poor, and 2nd half attendance will be much worse
