With a name like that, you need broad shoulders. 03-lol
Scotland-Williamson's name is on his jersey but you need a magnifying glass to read it

Irvine tweeted that O'Brien will not be playing as well as Swing. He called them both projected starters.
BTW- how does the rest of the team look tonight?

we need to improve our pg play ASAP.

UAB 6-11 C Beas Hamga had dunk attempt blocked. By the rim

Gametracker is working.

It's 48-38 with 16:33 to go.
Cam has 15 points, 6 rebouns on 7 of 13 shooting.
KC and the Whitaker band has 12 points on 3 of 6 from three point range
Ovie has 10 pts on 3 of 4 shooting.
Quincey has 5 assists.
7:35 media timeout UAB leads 63-52
Cam is 10 of 17 with 11 rebounds and 21 points.
KC is 5 of 9 with 15 points and 4 of 8 from 3 point range
Ovie is 10 pts
Purifoy has 9 points.
UAB wins 75-67. In the last 4 minutes, Tech hit 2 three pointers and we had two free throws to make it closer.

Cam's stat line looks like he could be CUSA POY.
10 of 18 FG. 13 rebounds 2 blocks 2 steals 23 points.

Ovie finished with 17 pts and 10 rebounds. 6 turnovers though.

KC Whitaker finished with 15 pts on 5 of 9 FG and 4 of 8 3pters. Great start for the freshman.

Purifoy had 9 points. Was 3 of 5 from 3 point range.

Quincy had 8 assists and only 2 free throws.

UAB had too many turnovers (21). But its early. They had 16 assists. Shot 45.6% from the field, 45.5% from three, and 72.2% fro mthe line. Free throw shooting was much better until the end of the game.

That's my take from watching gametracker.
I'm interested to see what those who went thought.

According to the back of the jersey, it wasn't Hamga. What was up with that???
To me it looked like everyone was still trying to get used to what was going on.

As for individual players:
Cam looked better than he did this time last year. I don't know recall specific numbers, but he did pretty well rebounding and scored quite a few.
Ovie played a pretty solid game. Nothing like he did when Cam was injured however.
QT is definitely different than AJ, although he is doing better than I expected.
KC Whitaker took me by surprise. The kid can shoot. Very well. Expect great things from this one in the future.
Beas got blocked by the rim....
Preston and Robert Williams each played fairly well.
Jekore Tyler hit a nice buzzer beater before the 1st half ended.
Some of the other playes, such as ASW, I didn't see enough of to really tell how their game is.
It looked like the first game of the year, lots of new guys
Good game. It is going to be a fun year.
the guys have really hit the gym in the off-season....upper body strength is most noticeable.
Lou Deneen has seen to it that this will be the team in the best physical shape in C-USA.
