Well it kind of a long story. Apparently a temporary ban my posting imposed back in November of last year somehow morphed into a permanent ban. However, you have to try to post to know you have been banned and I didn’t try to post as a Cajun Blazer until recently. While I still believe that I have been right about Callaway since the beginning, I also felt that my opinion was no longer welcomed on this board, and I was good with that. While I occasionally scanned the board to pick up news, I felt no need to engage in the discussions. All of the changed when the OCS situation began to unfold. I wanted to join you guys in the fight, but that’s when I found that I was banned.

After the buses returned from T-town I saw Attalla and asked him why I was still banned. He said it was some kind of a mistake and that he would reinstate me. He tried, but some kind of technical glitch is keeping him from making the Cajun Blazer account work correctly. So he arranged for me to temporarily use this CajunBlazer account until he can straighten out my original board name. He has managed to include my post count but I guess I will lose the meager “reputation” I had built up in the process. It matters not; at least I posting.

We all have had some differences over the years, but all of that needs to be set aside. We can no longer spend our energies arguing with one another. We have to put everything into winning this fight. Anyone who has studied history can tell you about pivot points; these are points in history where people’s reaction to events changed the course of our world. Fellow Blazers, our football program, our entire athletic program, is now balanced on such a pivot point. If we win this battle, I firmly believe that our program will have great success. If we lose it could easily slide into oblivion. The BOT has tied the hands of Garrison and Mackin. If they get too far out of line the will be replaced with BOT toadies. Only the students, alumni, and supporters of UAB can carry this fight to the BOT. It is up to us. I was extremely proud to be among our people who stood up to the BOT last Thursday. It was great start, but it was only a start. Like many of you I have some ideas about how to proceed and I will be posting them shortly. But regardless of their origins, we need to unite behind the best ideas and ensure they are implemented. If we stand shoulder to shoulder, put everything we have into it, and never yield – WE CAN WIN! WE WILL WIN! FREE UAB!!!

I too was temporary/ permanant banned........Attallla can fix it for ya.
