Just looking on the WVU Rivals board and it seems some Pitt and WVU fans are having problems with the attitudes of Louisville fans. We all knew this was going to happen. BTW I do feel that UofL will win the Big East and will only lose at most 1 conference game. No disrespect to the current members but I just feel we are that good.

JMO most of this is in response to some of the Preseason Hype that we are receiving. Pitt, WVU, Syracuse and Rutgers have been through the blood, sweat and tears for the Big East. It might be a little resentment for the new guys receiving the press coverage.

Maize, I can't see RU getting alot of preseason hype until we've had a season and recruiting class to indicate otherwise. That being said Athlon picks us for 3rd in the BE this year. I hope we finish that high because we'll keep all that top NJ talent home for a change. That same NJ talent that won PSU its last couple of NCs.
I may be in the minority here. But coverage is coverage. Being that Louisville is a new member, if they have a great season and get alot of media coverage that helps the perception of the big east as a whole. It doesnt matter if Syracuse, WVU, Pitt or Rutgers gathers alot of national attention, if USF, Louisville and Cincy all have very good seasons in the NBE, it will help in how the media views our new additions.

Pre-existing rivalries asside. When your team isnt playing each other, you better be rooting for every big east team these next couple of seasons. It is very important that every one of those schools listed above plays as well as we all know they can to show the nation that no one is taking our BCS title and that just the fact that people are discussing it should be put down.

I may be an eternal optimist after going to Buffalo for a year, and realizing just how good us fans of big east teams have it, but that list of teams is not shabby. Everyone of those teams has talent and can beat anyone on anyday if someone overlooks them.

You make some very valid points.
