You trot out that video every year don't you Nick. I always get a kick out of it and just cannot figure out why the polar bear blows up the planet earth.
I'm left with many questions. Then they are left to play games in outer space. I haven't figured out how they are able to recreate gravity out there to make the game possible. And how do the fans get to the arena? What were they smoking when they drew up the storyboards for the video?.
This is going to be a true test for our team. I hope we get at least one win.
I think we will be alright up there; whether up there means somewhere in space with artificial gravity and flying polar bears or Palin's backyard. I'm actually not really sure what the difference is.
Alaska may have beaten UNO but it seems like a lot of the top 15 teams have inflated ratings. I don't think Union's and our rankings are too skewed based on seeing both teams play last weekend. I think it'll be interesting once Union play's Yale. If Union whoops on them, then we'll have proof of how skewed the rankings are.
Although I'm not looking past Alaska (they are a good team and i'm expecting no more than a 2 goal win both nights by Western), I just can't wait to beat michigan in Yost in a couple of weeks; especially if we get under mike huntwick's skin like the ccha semi's last year. That kid is a head case.

UAF is a very good home team, I dont expect two goal Bronco wins, I expect 1 goal games.....I hate to say it, but I wouldnt be suprised if we came out of there with a split....

The bear blows up Miami, MSU and OSU. It is clearly an ally, so we should be fine.
I had the misfortune of spending 3 days in Fairbanks this summer (the rest of Alaska was awesome, but Fairbanks is a hole, even in the summer). I had the even greater misfortune of having a tour bus driver who must be UAF's answer to Super Fan and played this freaking video over and over and over and over and over on the bus video system. We even had a "surprise tour highlight" stop at the Carlson Center. I sooooo wanted to haul my iPad along one day and crank the Bronco fight song out every time he played that $()%* thing.

I see what you're doing here; low expectations. You don't want to be let down just in case. Good thing this isn't 2 years ago.
Western's 2-6-2 in our last 10 games up there, but took 5 of 6 points last year. I'd be happy with a split. Games in Alaska tend to have one game of the two where the visitors lose their legs.
