Third down problems as well as 1st, 2nd and 4th down problems.
3rd and 10 from the shotgun, draw play up the middle, fail!

Better than 4th and 0.5 inches from the shotgun swing it downfield
I wonder if the ever practice any plays under center?
When your running game isn't producing, you find yourself in a lot of 3rd and long situations.

To have such an experienced offensive line, there seems to be a lot of CNC's comments directed towards the opposing team's defensive line being good.
We have all of these small backs that can't plow ahead a get short yardage.

We have small backs that are asked to plow ahead instead of being used in a capacity that suites their style.
We have a fragile (as in "Brittle Brody" of another time and place) QB who is the only one who can play the position in the opinion of the staff. Our "dual threat" QB is being limited to one series (one mistake) per game lately. It seems that he must always be afraid that one bad play will return him to "ride the pine" for the rest of the game no matter how the other QB plays.

If the opponent's defense can force Ellis to keep the ball, their defensive options are narrowed substantially. He HAS to throw it somewhere, no matter what the coverage and the time he has been getting to make a choice has been very limited.
