With our new conference mates we'd have #7, #14, and #20 locked down this week.

With a little luck we'll break the top #10 within the next 3 weeks. Not sure who Boise has upcoming but I suspect they'll win in a blowout. Houston I think has either SMU or Marshall. Both of those are easily winnable.

By November 3rd if we can take care of our business you could see Boise in the top #5, WVU in the Top #10, and Houston in the top #15.

If SMU beats Houston then they jump into the Top 25 and probably run the table from there...ending somehwere around #18-20 by season's end.

Not huge but impressive.
UC is #31 and climbing...
That puts you within striking distance...of course we have competing interests in this matter. :)
And incredibly, Rutgers received votes.
Okay, so...

You are saying that the Big East can take credit for Boise State and Houston?

Don't you guys remember when you guys counted TCU's votes. Look how that turned out... :coffee2:
We take what we can get.

For now, Mount USA is together.

Until teams actually get invites and accept them, that's the way it will be. ESPN was misleading everyone.
I think what she was saying was there is an incentive (BCS-wise) to creating this new conference alignment...not that they should count the votes yet.
The only poll that counts is the final one...
