I'm just curious to hear some of you guys predictions for the game next Tuesday between FIU and ASU. Right now I really can't take a guess at who is going to win this one(Obviously I want FIU to win) because both teams are very good and I like the way both of them have played so far this season. What do you guys think?
Probably the closest game of the week. I'm pulling for FIU because we already beat you. BUT Jonesboro is an awfully hard place to win for visiting teams. I give the slight edge to stAte.

Will be the game of the week for sure. Jonesboro is a mutha.

Toss up....home field to stAte
How close it is probably depends on which QB shows up for ASU, the good Aplin or the bad Aplin. Bottom line is ASU wins either way, because while the Freeze offense has not lived up to its billing this year, primarily because of a very, very average OL, the defense and special teams have and they have been the difference.

The Jonesboro Sun did run an article today questioning whether or not something was wrong with Aplin after his performance against ULM. Aplin said he was forcing plays and Coach Freeze said it was just a bad hair day for him and placed some of the blame for Aplins performance on the OL.

Freeze did say they may move some players around on the OL to try and generate a running game. Even without a running game ASU will go 6-0 in Jonesboro this year but it would help them in the 2 remaining road games.
Getting Frankie Jackson and Sirgregory Thornton back to 100% will cure a lot of the running game problems. Frankie will probably be closer to that mark than Thornton by Tuesday.

ULM did their best to take away the deep ball keeping 2 and 3 safetins over the top. That allowed Frampton to catch a record 13 passes underneath and when they crept up on him late he burned them for a deep TD.

ASU will find a way to move the ball and if they stop turning it over the offense is fine. The main barriers playing FIU is going to be stopping TY and slowing down their speedy defense.
Go ASU! 04-cheers
30-28 ASU
I like FIU in this one. I think it will be a close game though.
Tuesday night games are a weird creature as far as team rhythm goes so they are hard to predict.

Weather forecast is for possible early morning rain and temps in upper 50's at kickoff.
