Sinking of USM hearts after being passed up for the 6th time?
he tweeted that new documents show the BE CEO's turned down Marinatto's idea of raising the exit fee from 5 to 20 million last session (10/2)

That's in his blog, too.

Quote:The Big East’s presidents and chancellors discussed but did not approve a proposal that would have increased the league’s exit fee to between about $17 million and $20 million, more than three times the current amount, during the league’s Oct. 2 meeting, according to league documents obtained by CBSSports.com.

. . .

In the Oct. 2 meeting, the league’s presidents and chancellors also were scheduled to continue dialogue about “potential legal strategies in the wake of the departures of Pittsburgh and Syracuse.”
is he going to announce that Temple, UCF, Navy, AF, SMU, Houston, ECU, etc will be getting the keys to an empty house i.e. Big Least? If I had to guess, based on comments from all current Big Least presidents, they are all packing there bags to leave the Big Least leaving an empty house for all of these new teams to live in. Ironic....We all fight to get in while they all fight to get out...
Thank you, Jesus for rescuing us from this mess!
At this point, unless someone knows what B12 and SEC are doing about expansion, I think this is just speculation and probably no better speculation than what we have already seen on this board.
BE will lose at most 1 school in the next 12 mos.

Thats OK, we will be looking forward to your visit to the Rock here soon, that never goes well for the Knights
The Big Ten, SEC, ACC, and Big 12 should do the BCS a favor and finish the BE.

Don't you mean thank you, GDF. After all, all UConn fans believe if it weren't for him, the Huskies would now be in the ACC while Pitt would still be in this mess. 05-stirthepot

*sarcasm alert*

Cheers,

So no McMurphy and not a lot of love for the future Big East.
