For the first time since 1982, no Florida college is ranked in the top 25 (courtesy of sports anchor Pat Murphy @CBS12 in West Palm Beach).

He mentioned the losses by USF, FAU, UF, FSU and Miami, but did fail to mention that two Florida schools, FIU and UCF, won this weekend.

No offense but probably because FIU has never been ranked and UCF had a decent season in a down year for the conference.

And FAU was ranked previously? He didn't mention those wins because the story sounds better when you make it out to be a winless weekend for FL.
I could understand him leaving out UCF, but FIU has fans and students in the CBS 12 viewing area. Oh well. I could go on all day about TV "journalism".
