Any FAU fans making the trip to Denton?
10-07-2011, 12:20 PM
I kind of doubt it. Youll have the "Usual Suspects" (Die hard boosters, players familiy's, Athletic Staff) but its a tad far out there for most FAU fans especially since we are 0-4.
I know that one FAU alum lives out there now and has really orginized a small but vocal alumni group. Im sure they will be there.
I havent seen your stadium yet on TV, so I will be looking forward to seeing how it compares to FAU's. Both are great from what Ive read and seen.

I actually haven't seen it on TV either. I've been meaning to go back and watch the ESPN3 replays, but have not gotten the chance yet. I hope they are still archived.... Ours will probably have a more classic look (other than the endzone seating) compared to FAU, who seems to have created a tropical paradise of a football stadium.

Battle of the New Stadiums!!!!
GO OWLS!

This is a game North Texas must win. We are better then the way we played at Tulsa. With a true freshman playing QB, we really took a step back last week. If Thompson is healthy, we should provide sufficient evidence of improvement, and get this team back on track.

Battle of the new stadiums lol I like it.
Does this game decide who gets stadium bragging rights?

Nah...we've already won that one.

Half time
FAU 0
UNT 7
FAU has the WORST offense. Hard to belive we had one of the best just 3 years ago.

How can FAU play the Cajuns so tough, and now cant even manage a score or a 3rd down conversion.
Thank goodness for the new stadium, because that is ALL we have.
FAU could go 0-12 this year.

We may have to call UNT the North Tejas "Viscious" Green after this game. This is getting ugly. Year 3 of a 10 year sentence and FAU is being traded around the prison for cigarettes...ouch.

This Lame Duck staff is horrendous.
Coach S is done, you can see it. He has no fire and neither do the coordinators.
I was hoping they would be decent and win 4-5 games so Coach could finish out, but Im ready to boot him after the Oct 15th game.
Most depressing season Ive ever been a part of.

I think it's our first back to back home wins since the 26 game conference winning streak.
Time to focus on ULL. They are at the top of what looks like a wide open race for the title.

Congrates, hope to see you Matt and a few others in Lafayette next weekend.

I wish the crowd had been bigger, but at least we won. NT was up 31-0 at one point I believe, before FAU got a field goal and we put our reserves in. FAU had good size, they just never seemed to get any momentum going. Morris is a pretty good RB. Big game next week in Lafayette.

I hope I'm there too. I may have to call it off because of a Finance test on Sunday that I'm not sure I could get back for in time if I went. It is disappointing, because I think it would be a blast down there.

I think UNT is going bowling this year along with UL and Troy. Good win Mean Green.
