Banks, Evans, Bright.

Huggins could have had something special if you guys stuck around or didnt do something stupid.
Paigers - I can't stand your gloom and doom freakin basketball threads.

Stick to football. You seem to have the capacity for hope there.

Or get outstide and enjoy the sun.
first of all, banks didnt do anything stupid

and as for bright and evans.......if those two would still be on the roster, this team is no doubt a final four candidate and a top five team all season long
sorry Eastside J

we can beat UConn with 4 scholarship players

ELDER rocks - WEST SIDE RULES

I don't know about that. This team with or without those guys would have had some question marks. Will Jihad become a steady point guard. Will James White lift his scoring average and become more well rounded offensively. Well the light go off for Armein every game? Can I. Johnson take the pressure off of Hicks in the post. Who are the backups in the post? Will the newcomers be the instant sparks to provide depth?

I think it would have taken time for all to gel and maybe by the end of the season we would have seen the real Cats. But they would have to be pretty special to be top 5 all season long.

Totally agree dude. For anyone to say w/ the lost players that this team would be unstoppable, is laughable. They would all still be unknowns. Would have been a better team, granted. Too bad.
At full-strength this team could have been a force ONLY if the players played to their potential. I still think next year's squad will be a pretty good team, but if Banks and Evans are available to play for the upcoming season then this team is a potential Top 10 team I believe. Potential is the keyword because there are a lot of new and young players on this team so you don't know how long it would take them to contribute to the squad.

Are you kidding me?

No TALL experience inside. Hicks is a monster, but at 6'5" he can't dominate inside without experienced help like he had last year with Maxiell. UK shut us down inside simply by installing Alleyne in the lineup to block Hicks twice.

And you were saying if Banks and Evans had been eligible we would be final four material????? They are freshmen! Don't count on them that much. Even if they score, their defense will be not up to Bearcat standards.

Bright will not be missed, simply because he had no position. He wasn't a low post player, our biggest need, and he wasn't a true guard. And we have 2 experienced SF's in White and Kirkland. He may be missed the season following this one...........but that will take care of itself.

I miss Evans and Banks more than I'll miss Bright. And if Coleman is everything he's showing in Deveroes............then Bright will be even less missed.

Evans, Banks, and Downey were to make up an awesome future guard tandem. It really sucks that it panned out this way.
When was the last time UC had a team with a full roster of scholarship players?

Is it possible to even have one?
