Is there anyone who can tell me the ranking of how much revenue the sports teams bring in for NIU athletics?

Ive been curious to see how much the other programs are bringing in to NIU

Also I want to see how they can afford the basketball coach 350k

The 8mil in student fees is where it comes from.

So in 2009 we paid WIU and Idaho a total of 371k to come to HS?

Do we pay basketball teams to come to town? What about other sports?

Ya but that is basketball.
Athletics overall made money in 09-10 and should have last year with the 300k swing on the bowl game. (Made 50k instead of expecting to pay 250k)

The entire NIU athletic program does not make money. There is one sport that generates revenue of any consequence and that is football. Without student fees NIU athletics would bleed money and we would already be a FCS football program.

NIU's Grim Reaper of Athletics has been pump fisting NIU's fall from D 1 football for at least 7 years. It appears he will do it forever. He is a small man.
