Good news: West Regional back in Grand Rapids at Van Andel.
Bad news: Hosted by Michigan now, not WMU.

Midwest regional's in Toledo, hosted by BG, and the usual Providence, RI, and Manchester NH for the east.

So, two regionals where WMU fans could probably get 5,000 in attendance if we're placed there.

Fantastic! Where did you find this?
Seems to be a rather "eastern" West Regional, eh?
There's going to be some serious irony if WMU is in the mix that year and gets sent to Toledo.

Michigan goes to GR (134 miles) over Toledo (53 miles) while WMU goes to Toledo (150 miles) over GR (50 miles)
Why wouldn't Michigan host the Toledo one and WMU the GR? I know it's a different state and all, but MTU hosted the Green Bay regional, didn't they?

Bowling Green's hosting Toledo. Yeah, they're not going to be there, but WMU hosted the first 4 GR regionals (last one was CCHA as a whole) and got bupkis out of it. Hosting means you're guaranteeing $ to the NCAA regardless of attendance, in exchange you're guaranteed to be placed there. If Michigan's bidding with Van Andel now, they could probably even offer higher $ than what we would for the same arena.
^^^ Basically, well put.
