IMO we need a better pass rush at this point. Even Dorris and Walker are having some trouble getting pressure on the QB at times, but my solution is tried and true. Here it is. On passing downs, move Shawn Jackson to an "on the line" DE when we shuffle Walker and Dorris inside at the 2 techniques (DT). Then occasionally, when he is aligned there, just drop him back into coverage since that's his normal job anyway and edge rush a player off the LOS. Walker has occasionally faked the rush and dropped, so we are scheming this sort of tactic anyway. We could get the best of both worlds. My opine.

IMO, our best pass rush defense is when we have Dorris and Walker inside and Todd at DE on the outside on those situations, so if we add Jackson to the mix, we get pressure. With SMU and Houston coming in later, we need the big pass rush without blitzing and leaving a hole in the secondary. With those guys, we get that. BTW, Todd is one of the best looking D linemen we've signed in a long time. He looks taller than the 6-3 he's listed at and he already looks like a seasoned veteran IMO.
