Cards win the game last night against the Phillies 5 to 4, even though I do not if they win another game in this series.

Love it! Taking one out of two in Philly is what they were hoping for. GO CARDS!

Phillies took the batteries out of their bats after the first inning and Cliff Lee had trouble keeping the ball down. Of course, the fans here are lining up to jump off the Ben Franklin Bridge this morning.

Home field advantage for the Cards now. Win 2 in St. Lou and let's go to Milwaukee.

Great relief piching. Did John Jay play football in college? Ruiz is extremely fortunate if he has no broken bones or dislocations. Jay's baseruning was a throwback to Enos Slaughter and some of the other Cadinal greats.

I thought it'd go 4 or 5. I think Phils split in St.Louis and then win it at home

Larussa blew this game in the 7th when he decided to walk Ruiz...In what world was he thinking that Hamels was going to come back out in the 7th

Giving up a pinch 3-run homer sucked!

Cards also blew too many scoring opportunities with runners in base tonight. Freeze couldn't get a hit when needed behind Pujols and Berkman. Bullpen still looks sharp though!

Gotta win tomorrow and see if Halladay can do it again on Friday.

If the Cards can win tomorrow they will have Carp going Friday with Loshe also fully rested

That was a great game last night...Garcia was amazing. If the Phils hadn't forced LaRussa into a reliever by scoring in the top of the 7th, that kid might've pitched a complete game.

Hope today will be good as yesterday for the Cards-Phillies game. The only thing I wish was that this game was not being played while I was at work. This will be a tough game with the quality staff Philly has against St. Louis.
