Hot Seat-VOTE FOR PEDRO

5. Neil Callaway, UAB (0-3 in fifth season, 15-36). The former UGA offensive coordinator under Richt has yet to do better than 5-7 since taking over in Birmingham. Unless the Blazers surge to the finish, this five-year plan will be complete. AP
Who are the 11% who want to keep him?
The 11% of people that enjoy seing sacks of crap roaming our sideline.
Maybe the same "11%" who were in charge of hiring him? If that "11%" is still in control of UAB's choices, we may well be keeping him for 2012.

Hush your mouth!
Maybe it's folks from other teams wanting us to keep him. If there is one person that wants to keep him please point them out.
Could be like me....................I voted to keep everyone but Callaway.

I am not one to point fingers

There seems to be enough to make up the 11% right here on this board. The "let him finish the season and see what happens" crowd...
PBJ has voted 362 times. This makes up 99.8% of the keep him vote.

Fans of any team that we play. They know they'll always have a chance to win with Callaway on the sidelines.

blazers9911 I would be willing to bet you...
The poll doesn't make clear whether you, as voter, think the coach SHOULD be kept or WILL be kept.

I would not hire Neil Callaway to scoop dogshit off my lawn - he'd leave 68 percent of it on the grass. But I seriously doubt anything he does on the field can get him fired at this point - he's going to have to diddle a coed OR Bryant Jr. has to die of coprophagia.

Understand your frustration, but I don't agree. I think UAB can and will fire Neil Callaway. Last year, unfortunately, we did well enough that even in most games that we lost, we were close to coming out with wins. That in combination with not wanting to rattle the cage too much with both an OCS AND a new coach, UAB decided they could justify a 1 year extension based on those 2 issues.

Losing to Tulane the way we did is almost enough to lose your job over... regardless what happens the rest of the season. So far, we're 0-3 and only 1 of those games was even remotely close. I think this will be Callaway's last...
I should say in the interest of those who love free speech that I got another 10% warning for my post above.

that seems dumb

I'm betting family members, close friends, "Bahr" jr.
Losing to Troy pretty much spells the end for Callaway. Losing to teams like Troy and Tulane is unacceptable.

Now 0-4 and the schedule doesn't get any easier... who else can we beat? Memphis maybe?

Don't see any way Mackin or anyone else can't act on this and put an end to the Callaway tragedy... I mean era.

If only...
He keeps this up... he might get another contract extension...
